Harvey's Garage - Jersey Ave.
I called this place because it was really close to work. Needed a state inspection and David had me scheduled for the very next day. I never had anyone schedule me for the inspection which was great. The drop off was easy and someone always answered the phone. Kept me up to date on the vehicle. 10% off the final total was given as I am a first time customer. Passed inspection and left with a tire rotation and alignment. Something that was needed. Great communication and sales.
Kiara, 🤩 wow checked all the boxes !! David and team are top notch no doubt. Customer service is at the forefront of all we do. Thank u so much for taking the time to share this, really means a lot to our entire team. Till next time …. HB

I took my car to Harvey's for my state inspection and had an excellent experience. I'm usually anxious about bringing in my car for inspection but they made the process so much easier. They're incredibly friendly (David was awesome), great at communicating, and upfront about pricing (which is more than reasonable for the level of service). They let me know my car had passed inspection and that they had some recommendations for repairs, but they were not at all pushy about them and more than understanding to remove whatever repair services I didn't want. I will 100% be going back, Harvey's has absolutely earned my trust and is the place I am recommending to my friends and co-workers. If you're looking for a trustworthy shop with good prices, this is it.
Ray, thank you for taking the time to leave this wonderful review David and the entire staff is truly top-notch. We certainly put our customers first and hold ourselves to a very high standard. Thanks again for taking the time to review us and we look forward to a growing relationship forward. HB

Huge shoutout to Harvey’s Garage! We brought our Tesla Model Y in after dealing with a frustrating issue at the Norfolk Tesla Service Center, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about our experience. From the second we walked in, Kayla was so kind, helpful, and genuinely caring. The team at Harvey’s did a great job - they got us in and out, were completely honest, and did exactly what we asked. Harvey’s did a full tuneup on a 2004 Nissan 350Z, which is of course a 22 year old car, but new to me. The mechanic’s feeling was that the plugs were the original plugs, after 94,000 miles and that 22 years I mentioned. Harvey’s also decarbonized the system. Runs like new now. Love it! Thank you to Mike and everyone at Harvey’s Garage. I will be back with any other concerns that arise.
Richard, thank you for taking the time to leave a review based off your service visit with us. Our entire team is focused on exceeding the customers expectations and building relationships. I am pleased we also earned the right to another visit should the need arise. HB

It's difficult to find a repair shop you trust. Especially when they see a woman by herself. After researching I decided to take my 14 year old car leaking coolant to Harvey's. I dropped my car off before they opened and I was contacted the same morning with diagnosis with prices. Having an older car they suggested several other services they could do but did not pressure me. I told him what I wanted done and was told my car would be ready the next day. The following day my car was ready as promised. After picking up my car I drove approximately 7 miles and my car overheated and I could not drive it. I immediately called Harvey's. They had my car towed back to the shop right then. The next morning I was contacted and informed my car would be fixed that day. It's nice to find a shop that stands behind their work and did not take advantage of the situation. I will tell my family and friends about this shop and will return in the future.
Katherine, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We certainly understand in this business, It doesn’t always go right what matters is how we respond when it doesn’t. I’m so very pleased that we were able to quickly get the vehicle, quickly get it repaired and quickly back to you. Efficient and friendly knowledgeable service. Fixed my 2005 Honda issue - “no old car shaming” - and sent me on my way quickly and happy. Definitely a hands on establishment, no nonsense approach and direct contact with a great team. And business was hopping so that in itself speaks volumes.

I had my car in for A/C work. At first, it was thought to be a switch, but then after replacing the switch, it was determined that it was the compressor. Ya'll worked with me so, I was only without a car for 1 day.
Dave, great news and I am very pleased that we were able to figure that AC out man they can be tricky sometimes all this new technology. It certainly isn’t basic 123 like it used to be that’s for sure. But thanks for the review. The worst auto shop known to man they charged almost 4000 for suspension work to not get done held the truck for over 3 months only to say take it to the dealership would not issue a refund of any kind despite not doing the job they were supposed to do. They were nice at first to the person giving them money but when I showed up to support in asking for the refund they immediately gave attitude these people a fake nice and scammers never take your vehicle here if you want it fixed.
Ashton, how frustrating this is. When you Brought your truck in the air suspension was not working, The tanks were bad as we described, and you authorize us to replace them. Once the work was completed 24 hours later, the suspension dropped yet again.. Our assumption is when it dropped the first time it cracked or damaged one of the airlines and we don’t have the equipment to test that particular system. I wish we could’ve known in advance that there was gonna be other work needed, but until we got the truck up and sitting at the normal position, there’s no way we could’ve known. I’m very sorry for this experience for you. I know you’re active duty. I’m a veteran as you know and I really wish there was more we could do. 🙏. HB
